FreeSim

Terms of service

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms apply to every purchase and use of a FreeSim travel eSIM and to freesim.travel. FreeSim ("we", "us") is operated by Florid Imeraj PF, NIPT M31710021S. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them before you buy.

1. The service

FreeSim sells prepaid, data-only eSIM plans for travel. A plan gives your phone mobile data on the networks of local operators in the destination you choose. Plans do not include a phone number, voice calls or SMS. Your regular SIM keeps working for those, and apps such as WhatsApp or FaceTime work over the data plan.

We supply plans through third-party eSIM network partners. Coverage, network names and typical speeds are shown on each plan page. Actual speeds depend on the local network, your location and your device, and we cannot guarantee a specific speed or uninterrupted coverage.

2. Before you buy: your device

  • Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Dial *#06#: if an EID number is shown, the phone supports eSIM. Whether it is unlocked is something to confirm with your carrier.
  • Check the destination and the plan details (data, validity, coverage) before paying. Our FAQ and installation guide explain how to check compatibility and install.

3. Orders, prices and payment

Prices are in euros and include any taxes that apply. Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details. Your order is confirmed once payment is received and your eSIM has been delivered. We may cancel and fully refund an order if there is an obvious pricing error or we reasonably suspect fraud.

4. Delivery and activation

eSIMs are delivered digitally, normally within seconds of payment: on the confirmation page, by email to the address you gave at checkout, and in your dashboard. Make sure that email address is correct and that you can receive messages from us.

  • An eSIM can be installed on one device, once. Once it has been installed, the QR code cannot be reused, and deleting the eSIM from your phone will usually make it unusable. Do not share the QR code or activation details.
  • The validity period of a plan begins when the eSIM first connects to a supported network at your destination, unless the plan page says otherwise. Installing early costs nothing.
  • Unused data expires when the plan's validity ends. Where available, you can add data to an existing eSIM with a top-up from your dashboard.

5. Fair use and acceptable use

Hotspot and tethering are allowed. You must not use the service for anything unlawful, to abuse or disrupt the networks, or to resell plans without our written agreement. Network partners may apply their own fair-use rules, and we may throttle or suspend a plan that breaks them or these terms.

6. Your account

You sign in to your dashboard with a one-time code sent to the email address used for your order. Keep access to that mailbox secure: anyone who can read it can see the eSIMs linked to it. Tell us straight away at support@freesim.travel if you think someone else has access.

7. Refunds and your right of withdrawal

Our refund policy explains when we refund an order. An eSIM is digital content delivered immediately. By placing an order you ask us to deliver it right away and you acknowledge that, where the law allows, your right to withdraw from the purchase ends once the eSIM has been delivered. This does not affect any statutory rights you cannot lose, or the rights described in our refund policy.

8. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep the service running, but mobile networks and internet services can fail for reasons outside our control, and we cannot be responsible for outages of a local network, for the effect of your device settings, or for loss of data or connectivity you depend on. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the price you paid for that order.

9. Changes

We may update these terms and the plans we offer. The terms that applied when you placed an order stay valid for that order. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new “last updated” date.

10. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. As a consumer you keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. If something goes wrong, write to support@freesim.travel first. We aim to reply within two business days and to resolve issues quickly and fairly.
